Shopko has tiny carts

My new issue of wired came in the mail yesterday. I ended up reading some of it instead of doing my dishes. I love the magazine, its one of the magazines I anxiously wait for every month.

Then I went and did some errands with Amanda. I had to return a game at shopko and get a different one. I got legacy of kain for xbox. I have the blood omen one right now but I got the other one so when I finish this one. Then we went to goodwill and I found a wet floor sign and an 8track recorder, but it doesn’t work. I need to take it back sometime soon.

It’s real nice out today. So me and Clair went down to the lakefront to take pictures and we talked and stuff. I hadn’t seen her in a week or so. There were a few surfers out but the waves in the one spot weren’t that big. I did get a few pictures though.

I had to go get some oranges and bananas too, im all out of oranges. The bananas I got last week are still super green, so they aren’t even peelable yet. The ones I got now are a nice yellow. I got organic ones again, since it always comes out to the same price. The only thing ive noticed is the organic ones aren’t as big as the other ones.

mmmm cookies

My cookies came out really good. It’s hard to not just eat them all at once. The pans worked real good too.

Shannon called lastnight. The concert is on a Saturday that I have to work. So I wouldn’t be able to get there in time. Which really sucks because I wanted to go. But I talked to her for a bit and she is gonna check her schedule for the weekend after that. Because I have off then. I really miss her, I haven’t seen her in over a year. So im hoping I can go see her then.

I almost rear ended some jerk from work on the way home. It was a two lane road and he moved over so I went pass him but the upcoming light was red and I was slowing down and he all of sudden pulls in front of me and hits his brakes. I had to slam mine and skid not to hit him. Next time he tries that im just gonna hit him

I replaced my starter in the car the other day so I had to return the core today so I could get my deposit back. It was real easy to change out the starter. It didn’t even take me 30minutes to do it. And I didn’t scrape my arm up much either. I scraped it up a lot doing the alternator last time.

I called and got all my magazine subscription addresses changed over today finally too. And they got me to sign up for some new ones and renew some that expire soon. It was bout 4$ a month to get 7 magazines. I renewed stuff, popular science, rolling stone, motor trend, pc magazine. I also added vibe and spin. My wired subscription doesn’t run out until 2010 I think. So I don’t need to worry about that one.

That’s it finger, you’ve betrayed me for the last time

I tried to do a load of laundry here at the apartment yesterday. When my stuff was done washing someone else’s stuff was still sitting in the dryer that was done before I even started my stuff. So I waited for them to get their stuff instead of setting it on top of dryer. I kept checking every 5-10 minutes. Then when I went to check the washer was on, they took my stuff out and set it in the dryer. Then I was checking to see if my stuff was done every 5 or so minutes near the end. When I went out to see I saw it all sitting on top of dryer, the assholes couldn’t wait 5minutes. And some my clothes weren’t fully dry yet. So I opened the dryer door so their stuff would stop drying. That’s what they get for being assholes. Next time I should throw bleach in or something.

Its kinda crappy outside today. Windy and raining on and off. Which sucks, because me and ann were gonna go ride our bikes today. But not in this crap.

Maybe ill just stay inside and make some cookies and stuff. I got all the stuff cleaned up now so I can. My new cookie sheets rock. They have circles on the spots to put the dough. And they are nice and thick sheets too.

Mcdonalds is not food

Wow what a busy week this has been. Monday I went and got a couch finally. Its awesome too. Its almost 8 ½ feet long. So I can lay down on it and still have plenty of room. The color is ok but I would like to get it redone in a red and then get a coffee table in black with a red top on it. Ill have to sketch out a design and stuff in cad. All the coffee tables at target and stuff are too small. I want something about same length as the couch.

Ann came over Tuesday and hung out. That was a lot of fun. I made tacos for supper, they turned out pretty good. Ive been eating the leftovers all week. I even made burritos for work with it. The framing place called too and we went and picked up my picture. It came out really nice framed. It was worth what I paid to get it framed. Im going to stick with this place, the lady was real good at helping me pick stuff to frame it in and how it would look. When I tried to get it framed at hobby lobby the guy didn’t seem to want to help at all.

I haven’t really missed not having the internet at all anymore. I have been so busy hanging out with friends or doing stuff that it hasn’t bothered me. The only thing I do miss really is being able to check the weather in the morning before going to work. Otherwise it hasn’t been an issue.

The people I talk to the most I have their phone numbers so I can just call them up. Except that Emily is a poopiehead and doesn’t have her phone on most the time.

My bike got done getting the recalled parts replaced and stuff Wednesday. So after work I went and got that. I bought a bike rack for my car while I was there. I have wanted one for a while. I can’t put the bike in my car. My car is too small. The rack can hold 3 bikes. It’s pretty easy to attach to my car too.

Picked up my dvd player today too. They checked the connections inside and cleaned the laser for me. It all works nice now. Now I can lay down on my couch and watch a movie when I get home from work. I was gonna go pick it up Wednesday with the cute girl from work but she had stuff come up so she had to cancel. Which was ok, I was tired anyway.

I was reading in the paper about mcdonalds trying to be healthy and get rid of the supersize option. To me it just seems like a way to make more money. They get tons of free advertising because every single paper has had an article on it, every news station has talked about it. And also the people that want a supersize order of fries will now have to buy a large and then another order of fries. Getting rid of a size isn’t going to make the people that want to eat a lot stop from eating a lot. They will just have to pay more now. I think mcdonalds sucks anyway. Hardees is way better.

April 18, 2004

I saw it on a Saved by the bell episode.

It was real nice out today again. I got up early and went to target to get some things I needed then I went and did my laundry. I had a lot piled up in my room. The Laundromat I picked had crappy dryers, ill have to try a different one next. Only one of the four I used actually dried quick and it also gave me 12minutes each time instead of 10. Some old guy said I looked like I was in good physical shape, then he said my sandals look comfy. It was kind of creepy, at least he didn’t stay around long, ju7st got his stuff from dryers and left. While I was waiting I saw a wired issue in the magazine rack, it’s from 2002 and looked interesting. I wasn’t able to finish it, so I took it home with me, hehe.

After that I decided to check the belt squeal noise a little better. I noticed the belt had chunks out of it and looked in real bad shape. So I went to AutoZone and got a new one. But when I was putting it on I noticed the bolt for the alternator brace wasn’t there, it was still functioning though, it was kind of wedged into the spot. Then when I loosened the bottom bolt of alternator to get belt off I saw the other side at bottom had no bolt either! So there was only one bolt at the bottom holding the alternator in, im surprised it even kept it in place. But the only one bolt was causing it to twist a bit which chewed the belt up. The belt was only six dollars though. So I replaced that and put bolts in all the spots they go. I will have to keep an eye on it and make sure they stay there.

After that I went and got some groceries. I needed food for work and some other stuff. I got some organic bananas and the cashier rung them up as regular bananas. Which is good for me, I think that’s the 2nd time they’ve done that now. It even had a sticker that said organic on it.

I tried to plug some stuff into the bottom outlet in the computer room and I couldn’t get any power, I even tried turning the light switch off, that didn’t help any. I found two outlets that aren’t working. I never checked that yet. So tomorrow I will call the office and have them fix that. I got some more stuff hung up in my place and stuff put away. But then king of the hill was on so I stopped and watched tv and then I had to go pick up Amanda, she wanted to hang out for a while. We watched king of the hill and the Simpson’s. The Simpson’s was funny, the 2nd episode was a repeat that I had saw already before though.

I got a 256mb lexar jumpdrive also today. Now I can put my pictures and files on it and go to someones house and upload it to my site. Burning cds was a hassle.

I also talked to leah yesterday. She called me up while I was driving around. I think we are going to go to Toronto in a few weeks for a weekend. That will be nice. I need to see blair and have him do some stuff for me. I also really miss eating Ethiopian food. I got a favorite place to go there. Im pretty excited about going, its been a long time since I have been there.

mmm donuts.

It was real nice our Saturday and I didn’t want to spend it inside so I took a drive, I ended up in Chicago getting a slurpee from a 7-eleven and some donuts from dunkin donuts. After I got those two items I headed back home

On the way there I stopped at Harrington beach state park. It was 5$ to get in or 20$ for a sticker for the year that gets me into all the state parks. So I got the sticker. I walked along the beach and a trail for a little bit. The beach was pretty. You could see the mist from the lake and stuff.

I saw a garage sale on the way to Chicago also. They had a cool couch but I had no way of getting it home and it was near the border, so I don’t think id be able to use dads van to go get it. But they did have a Don Ho record. I got that for Shannon. When I was living with her we found a Don Ho glass at a garage sale and got it. So I figured the record would go good with it.

On the way back I stopped at Bong recreation area state park. Some the signs now say Richard Bong instead of just bong. I guess to many people were stealing the signs. I got a pretty picture of the sunset there.

No time for a title

I’m trying to work on a new site layout right now. I am not satisfied with the way the front page looks right now. It doesn’t really have much at all. I have what I want sketched out. But getting it into html format is a different story. I will probably pull out my book on html or go buy a new one, this one is from 98 so it is kind of outdated. I have Microsoft FrontPage but I don’t really like it and id rather do it in notepad.

While I was working Wednesday one of the girls there asked me over. She asked me about my ears and if it hurt and stuff like that. I explained to her that it pretty much stretches itself and doesn’t hurt. She wanted to see what it looked like without them in so I took one out, and then she asked if she could touch it. I let her. Then she asked me to look at her and she said I have pretty eyes. That made me happy to hear. So after that I was in a pretty good mood for the rest of the day.

I asked my supervisor if she had any word on the guy that does my job normally but is out on elbow surgery. She said last time she talked to him he was still in a cast, so it will be a while before he is back. Then I asked how long he was gone before. Almost a year I was told. So that was good news too, the job will probably last for a while then.

My car sometimes doesn’t want to start at first. I hear the starter but its not kicking out or spinning. But if I let it sit for a few seconds and try again it starts right up. Its 125$ for a new starter. I plan on just waiting until it totally dies before replacing it. I think my alternator is going too, I tightened the belt but it still squeals like a piggy when I go from a stop. That’s 140$ to buy a new one also, so that will wait until it totally dies out, the noise doesn’t bother me yet.

What do you mean brought it bowling, Dude? I didn't rent it shoes. I'm not buying it a fucking beer. He's not taking your fucking turn, Dude.

I’m all moved in at my new place now. It’s pretty nice so far. The computer room still isn’t all set up but it’s getting there. I hooked up the stereo and all that stuff and my dvd player wouldn’t work. So Thursday me and Clair drove to Milwaukee so I could drop it off for repair. It’ll be done in 2weeks. After that we went to Mayfair mall to look around. I got myself some new tea tree oil face wash. And I got a large cookies and cream mocha, it was super yummy but I was up forever after that, I haven’t had soda or anything with caffeine in it for almost 2months. But while I was wide awake I fixed some images and got them printed off in 8x10’s. They turned out pretty nice. I was trying to remove a scratch and it wouldn’t go away, then I realized it was my monitor. So I gave my monitor a good cleaning. I have my favorite tiger picture at the craft store near me getting framed.

Robin came up Friday and hung out with me until Saturday night. That was pretty fun. We went shopping and finished getting the rest of the stuff I needed for my place. On Saturday we had the bowling thing my dad does every year. I did pretty well this time. I got a 111, 155, and 119.

I’m not getting the internet here at my place probably. Don’t really need it since I can just use someone else’s if I really need it. So if you need to get a hold of me send me an email to keebie1@charter.net I have it set to bounce it to another email address that then sends it to my phone. So try to keep the msg small and stuff. I can get 750 characters max, after that it chops the rest off. Ill be able to send email from the phone too.

I got my bathroom all done. I couldnt decide on the orange or the blue so mixerd them together. I like how it came out.

Now to go work on my taxes. Im so slow this year.

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit.

While I was moving some stuff over to my new place yesterday I noticed the cop in front of me was talking on a cell phone. He continued talking and it appeared he dialed some numbers too cause it left his ear for a bit while at the lights. I don’t think a cop should be on a cell phone talking while driving, they have enough stuff to watch while driving. That and its not safe to drive while on the phone. If he had a hands free thing it wouldn’t be as bad because he could still drive good but he didn’t.

I got some more tag less shirts the other day at Wal-Mart. I like the style of the shirts but I am not a fan of tag less. The tag never bothered me, and when you’re just waking up and its dark it’s hard to figure out which way the shirt goes. Especially when it’s already over your head and you’re trying to figure out the way to rotate so you can put your arms thru.

I had to go buy a cd rack today. The other one I have is filled with DVDs and video games. I’ve had it for 3yrs almost, the shelves bend towards the middles from the weight of DVDs and stuff. I got the same model today so they match, it says it holds 304 cds on 4 shelves. But the instructions say no more than 18pounds per shelf. I’m thinking 76cds weigh more than that since the shelves on the other one bent.

New pictures are up on the gallery too. There’s new stuff in the surf, Sheboygan, and random folders.
